Nova East Wind will be a 300-400MW floating offshore wind project located 20-30km off Goldboro, Nova Scotia. The project will consist of approximately 20-25 floating wind turbines, each producing an anticipated 15MW of energy.
Subject to regulatory approval, the project is planned to be operational by 2030 and could support Nova Scotia and Canada’s 2030 decarbonization goals.
